What teachers want
Teachers believe their skills aren’t recognised, properly evaluated, developed or rewarded. An overwhelming majority of teachers surveyed say that good teaching goes unrecognised, and poor teachers are allowed to continue. A new report from the Grattan Institute points to some serious problems in our classrooms.
