Our maths teacher has set us two codes to crack, can you break them as I am useless at maths?
Our Maths Teacher gave us the link below and told us to crack the 2 codes on the site. I am useless at breaking codes, but the first one to crack them will get £10, so if anyone can break the code, I would be so grateful

This is so cool and i have no time to work on it – sorry
Let’s hope it is a simple substitution Encryption
If it is you can make use of letter frequency info
single letters=ETAOINSHRDLU … i think
as in E is the most common letter
Digraph frequency tables may also be useful – don’t have those memorized but i’m sure you can look them up – (eg. “th” is common two letter combo)
Other methods of encryption include
Transposition – changing the order of letters (or bits, or…)
nulls – useless data placed in the text to just throw you off
And of course these 3 methods can be combined in a myriad of ways
ps. for The Cipher with crazy symbols – write down all of the symbols and substitute letters of the alphabet and start there
